TENNILLE TARASZKIEWICZ. BRINGING THE EFFICIENCY OF AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTION TO FILM PRODUCTION WITH AWARD-WINNING CREATIVITY, PURPOSE, & VISION.
My name is Tennille Taraszkiewicz and I’m a film & commercial producer in Canton, MI, in between Detroit & Ann Arbor. As a child I always had a passion for being in front of the camera but I choose to get a business degree vs. heading to NY or LA. My first job out of Adrian College was a “production” supervisor for Ford Motor Company which gave me the fundamental knowledge I’m transferring to my film business. I went on to be a process engineer in manufacturing & product development training people in all regions of the world.
In 2016 I produced my first short film, and discovered being behind the camera is my purpose. The production process was very natural and I immediately knew I could apply these skills to all aspects of my life, including Ford. I now supervise a newly created video section for cost process training globally. I continue to produce short films with friends & family to build bonds, and skills, in the hopes for film festival recognition. In early 2017 I directed & produced a short video for Ellen DeGeneres’s “Be Kind” initiative that was featured on her webpage. I was also approached to produce a reality TV pilot on the homeless in Detroit called “Reach Up.” I’ve been most passionate about this project because it combines my love for philanthropy and film. I’m now the proud owner of the Film Chic and ready to help small, medium, and large businesses with commercials, training, and executive meetings.
I married a fellow Ford employee, Steve, and we have a son together, Tyler. Our family time is primarily spent traveling for hockey or baseball. In the summer we relax up north whenever we can. I’m actively involved in the Michigan chapter of Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Vista Maria, and Detroit Rescue Mission Missionaries.
